Starting the hike, Burstall in the background.
This is the gully we went up. It was OK, but a gully futher on the path would be a better choice.
This is the best ascent gully, just after a bend in the approach road. Note you can no longer see the acsent gully from this angle and it may seem you've walked too far.
Making our way up the gully.
The top part of the gully... real loose. we found faint trail hugging the face on the right.
Blanka and Marko coming up the last part of the gully.
Marko watching Mike struggle up the loose scree.
We emerge onto the col... and summer! The summit of Burstall in the background.
Murray and Cegnfs.
Mike atop the shoulder summit with Aarmaan aproaching.
Mike atop a shoulder summit of Burstall.
Beggining to move up from the col.
Mike having some climbing fun.
The summit crux... looks a like dicey with the snow on it.
Carefully making our way up a crack.
Aarmaan following up the crack.
He's still smiling so it can't be too bad, right?
Murray and Cegnfs, again.
Mike descending the upper ridge.
Mike and Marko on the upper ridge.
The classic Blanka bum shot as she descends the snowy crux.
Marko obviously pleased that I'm brave enough to take a classic Blanka bum shot while she's on the crux.
Magnificent, Olympic-quality scree on the descent of the gully.
