Karnataka Bhagawatha, a fifteenth century epic in Kannada was edited by Holalkere Chandrasekhar who transcribed the text from a 255 year old palm leaf manucript and translated to English. This mammoth work in two volumes (1500 pages) was released recently in Houston, Mysore, Bangalore, Dharwad and Shimoga. Some of the reviews presented here hail the work as "monumental and ground breaking."
