OSL Preview Night

Our Sporting Life

North Lincolnshire Museum has teamed up with Study Parks and Scunthorpe United for a celebratory exhibition, which will tell the history of the club and its importance to the local community. This day was to create a series of display panels which will be exhibited at the museum. All the information was researched by the children at the study centre which will be put towards the panels.

Media Centre Development

Work started in October 2010 on a new Media Centre development at Glanford Park, the home of Scunrhorpe United FC. The Media Centre will expand on the existing Study United FC facilities to provide space for an office, teaching area and live TV studio for educational use and by the club. It's estimated to be completed by Christmas 2010. Keep checking back for more photos as the development continues

Chinese Visit

We hosted a visit from a group of Chinese head teachers from Zhongshan District in Dalian, China. They were here to learn more about leadership in UK schools. Coming to Study United FC gave them the chance to be hands on and try a popular study support activity; human stop frame animation out in the stadium under the stewardship of Jane and Cheryl.

View from the Floodlights

A rare treat was in store for eLearning, Marketing and ICT manager Rob Jefferson as he rose to 110 feet in the air to take photos of Glanford Park. Fortunately it was a beautiful (and not windy!) day resulting in some really interesting photos.

Hull Education Centres Bike-a-thon

Study Parks proudly supported Hull Education Centres' Bike-a-Thon in more ways than one. We cheered on the cyclists as they arrived at the end of their first leg from Lincoln City F.C. to Glanford Park. Our Rob Jefferson joined the gang on the same leg, cycling 30 miles of pure endurance! These are a couple of the photos taken at the end of the day.
