Appalachia 2008

Our third annual mission trip to Our Lady of the Hills parish in Elkview, WV. We worked with LERMA to make major, needed home repairs for the needy of the Lower Elk River and learned about ourselves and our faith while doing it. Evenings were filled with music, games, and fellowship, along with some much-needed rest. Thanks to Mrs. Lynne Mroz for the photos.

"Friday Night Light"

"Friday Night Light" was the 2006-2007 Ministry Project for the Allegheny Valley Deanery, sponsored by Meredith Troyan, our DYC representitive. In February, a Catholic music group from Greene County made up of Zach and DYC members Carl and Mike came to our Pastoral Center to lead a night of praise and worship. Appalachia 2006

High school students from our Youth Ministry go on an annual mission trip to Appalachia in West Virginia. In 2006, we served for the first time from Our Lady of the Hills Parish in Elkview, outside of Charleston. This was the first Appalachia mission sponsored independently by St. Scho's CYM.
