You can see the Civic Pharmacy with that really retro, 1950's-style signage. I didn't really intend for that girl to be in the shot, but I don't mind. The main Ottawa mosque... On Northwestern Avenue in Westboro, just across the Transitway from Scott Street. It's operated by the Ottawa Muslim Association, and has an Islamic library and washing facilities for the deceased on site. A locksmith was fixing or replacing a lock on the side door when I took this photo. I haven't heard anything about any vandalism over the past couple of days, so I assume that it's just routine maintenance.
