Olympic Games 2008
And of course I was in Beijing for the Summer Olympic Games of 2008. I was lucky enough to see 13 different sports. Here are a few pictures of the sports, but most are of the athmosphere around the venues and in the city.

North East China 2008
I also spent some time out of Beijing, in the North East of China. Provinces I visited included Hebei, Tianjin, Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Shangdong.

Beijing 2008
I spent 3 months in Beijing in 2008. Here are some general impressions of the city. I used a Canon EOS 400D with a new EF 17-85 lens, and occasionally brough the 75-300mm lens. The pictures are downsized to fit Picasa.

India & SL 2008
February and March of 2008 I spent travelling through Sri Lanka and mostly India. This was the first trip I shot digitally. I used my new Canon EOS 400D with a new EF 17-85 lens, I also brought along my old 75-300mm lens, the pictures are downsized to fit Picasa.
