An elk--we were fascinated with them when we first moved out to CO. This one we saw while camping in RMNP.
Waterfall at the start of the hike to Black Lake
This lake was so peaceful and scenic.
We stopped here and sat on a rock out in the water to eat some food.
The mountains never get old.
The water was spraying me as this picture was taken and it seemed like Travis was taking his sweet time...
Almost there! Black Lake was right over this ridge.
Finally, Black Lake! To be honest, the other lake was more impressive.
