2007 - Modgnik

Kingdom Backwards! Hi peoples guess what we did, we went to Modgnik which is a youth retreat usually we spend the whole time playing soccer or volleyball or rock climbing or whatever else. (or at least the guys do I have no clue what the girls do). But this time it rained the whole time, which didn't do much some of us still played soccer and did rock climbing and all that. Plus we all got a little better at pool. The speaker this year was great he talked of everything from fellowship to Jaguars. Altogether this was another great weekend at Modgnik.

2007 - Gainesville

In April, S.O.S. made our annual trip to Gainesville to baby-sit the kids at a fellow PCA church. The church has a retreat every year and, as a fundraiser, we plan games and activities for the elementary aged kids who attend church there. It was an all-day trip that started at 8:00. We began with some singing, a puppet show and a door hanger craft. Afterwards, everyone headed outside for some kickball, soccer and dodge ball.

2007 - 30 Hour Famine

On February 23rd through 24th, S.O.S held their first 30 Hour Famine at the Hudson’s house. The fast began at 12:30 on the 23rd and ended at 6:30 on the 24th. On Friday, we had worship a mini worship time and played some games. On Saturday, we split up into teams and went to Wal-mart with $10. Each team tried to get the most items (with the most nutritional value as well) with only $10. The food was donated to c-cap. Afterwards, we went to Hagerstown and saw the movie Amazing Grace. We drove back to the Hudson’s and had a much-needed meal of rice and beans.
