Zilker Christmas Tree 2010

We enjoyed an evening visiting the Zilker Park Christmas tree. The cool thing to do is to stand under the tree and turn around. It's a great view with a dizzy feeling. The boys played with their lighted toys. When I got home, I looked down and my pants and shoes, they were full of dust! N I know what the "orbs" are in the photos - dust! We thought we were seeing ghosts! :p

Halloween 2010

The SolisAguilar ghouls were out for the night scaring and being scared. This year, we all headed to the Haskell St. block Halloween party. The neighbors decorated their houses and had games for the goblins to play, along with lots of treats.

Family Day Out

We had a day of fun-filled activities. Starting out with VJ's and Anthony's flag football games. Afterwards, we headed to Tony III's homecoming ceremony for the SAO Scorpions. Then we ended the afternoon at Cabela's in Buda, TX, at the classic car show. The boys had a great day. The grown ups did, too!

Eastside Honor FOREVER!!!

Through the power of technology and Facebook, I got together with a few of my friends that I knew back in grade school and middle school. We came together for a "reunion". We all lived in the "Eastside" growing up. Although, time had separated us, we came together as if we had never had that time away from the other. It was awesome!!! The DJ kept congratulating us for coming together and played some of our favorite songs. We danced and laughed! Beautiful ladies inside and out! Annalissa is 15!

My baby girl turned 15 today. Mom, Vincent and I treated her to her favorite, pizza, at Gatti-town. She got a special surprise when she saw the Aguilar family arrive. It was a great evening with family.

Vacation in Rio Grande Valley

For our 2009 vacation, we headed to the Rio Grande Valley to visit my goddaughter and her daughter. We had a great time visiting with relatives, lighting fireworks, going to South Padre Island beach and cooling down on a big water slide. The temps were 104 while we were there!

VJ turns 6

During the week, VJ was sick from two ear infections. He was so sad that his birthday was not fun. So, we made it up to him by celebrating on Saturday. He was a happy camper!

Batey Young Benefit Dance

Uncle Batey's classmates of '68 got together to host a fundraiser for him. It was awesome to see family on such a special night. Gosh, you don't realize how much it means to be around loved ones! It was a great night!
