With plenty of light at the beach, stopping the motion is easy... timing is not.
I metered the scene using matrix and I think dialed in a - 1/3 or so of EV. I was fortunate that the lady with all the bags decided to stand still for 2 seconds.
The way the guy moved happens to work out well for this shot.
Shot in Tv mode, set to .5 seconds (far below what is hand holdable, but figured the motion blur was more important.
Light waves. Streaks caused by the swinging motion of the gondola and ferris wheel.
Just used partial metering, dialed in - 1 EV or so.
