The local passes by tower NC.
The local begins working the tipple. The SW-9 is from S-Helper Service.
Switching the tipple requires the locomotive to pass over the viaduct. This is based on the B & O viaduct between Point of Rocks and Brunswick, MD. It's scratch built from styrofoam and some commercially available stone product.
The tower is a laser kit that's based on a standard B & O design. The tipple mock up is based on a C & O tipple at Republic, KY. Those sure are super trees. Yes, they are, Super Trees.
Looking down the mainline.
As the local continues to work the tipple, a GP 30 with a general freight comes the other direction.
A quick wave, then each crew does a visual inspection of the other train. The GP-30 is a brass model imported by Greenbrier Models.
Nice caboose!
The freight rolls on by.
Now the local crew can turn their attention back to their own work.
Thanks for visiting. You can put a lot of railroad, even in a larger scale, into a rather small space.
