The route I took through the cliff bands on the s.e. slopes of Oklahoma is to the left of the snowfield.
I think this may have been the first time I've seen a ptamigan in summer. He looks a lot different than winter white!

I climbed up to this rib and crossed over to the other side at a notch before the climbing exceeded class 3.
