Wigan Bowler Takes Junior Lancashire Title
Wigan bowler David Molyneux was on top of the world when he won the Lancashire under 18 Crown Green Bowling Individual Merit Competition on Sunday 27th June. This win was particularly special to him as he had missed out over the last 3 years, being runner up on each occasion.
The final day was held at St.Benedicts Bowling Club, Hindley on Sunday 27th June, and while most of the British public were watching England lose to Germany, a large crowd were being entertained with some excellent junior bowling on a very fast, difficult green.
In all, 26 junior bowlers from all over Lancashire competed in the final day.
