Eli's First Haircut

April 23, 2009. We finally gave Elijah his first haircut. These are before and after pictures. It was sad to cut off his baby hair...but it was definitely time! He was getting a pretty good mullet going! We messed it up in a few spots, but overall it looked okay. I still need to cut the top...since he kind of has a faux-hawk going...but he had enough for one day.

Halloween 2008

Eliijah had a great 2nd Halloween. He dressed up as a puppy. Matt and I took him to the Laramie Childrens Museum. He had a good time! He liked all of the Halloween decorations ---especially the streamers hanging from the ceiiling. He got his nose painted at the carnival and got to "trick or treat." They also had a petting zoo, which he thought was really neat! We accidently left his bag of candy there though! (we would have ate it anyways --not him!) We then went out to dinner. We came home and trick or treated to all the houses on our block with the Archer and Kelly Family's.

Elijah's First Birthday Party

We had Elijah's First Birthday party on Saturday, July 19, 2008 @ Washington Park. We had a picnic lunch with friends and family. It was a great time! We also had fun going home and playing with all of his new toys, just the three of us!

Salt Lake City, UT --7th Anniversary 2008

Matt and Shelly went to Utah to celebrate their 7th Anniversary. Elijah stayed with his Grandma and Grandpa Coulter. We camped the first night in Wasatch Mountain State Park and went into Salt Lake City the next day and stayed downtown at Little America. We visited Temple Square, Gateway Mall, and the International Peace Gardens. It was a great trip!

Turtle Rock ---June14,2008

Took Eli hiking at Vedauwoo for a few hours on June 14, 2008. It was the day before Fathers Day. We had a great time! The weather was perfect and the hike was fantastic. Elijah loved it.

We took Eli to the zoo for the first time. He had a blast! He particularly got excited about the huge fish aquariums, the bear, and the giraffes. We went with our friends the Kellys, the Hamiltons, and the Riveras. It was a great day! It was the first time of Eli's whole life that he hasn't had any afternoon nap. He was exhausted by the end of the day, but it was worth it!

Valentines Day 2008

Most of these were actually taken a few days before Valentines Day, in order to have pictures to send in the grandparent's Valentines and to put on Matt's Valentine. The pictures of Matt and Eli were actually taken on Valentine's Day. I think Eli looks so cute in his new Valentines Day Polo shirt. : ) Such a happy boy!

First time swimming!

We took Elijah swimming for the first time on Jan. 19, 2008. We went with the Kelly Family. Eli was very laid back about it. He didn't get as excited as he does at bath time...but was very content the whole time. We dunked him under the water and he took it like a champ...no crying at all! We went in the lazy river and took him throught the water web. He played in the fountains too. It was a ton of fun!
