This is not just a picture of the stadium, this is a picture of Luke "taking it all in" before he sits down to watch the game. Luke is a very serious pro sports fan. ... not that I'm not, of course...
Marisa, RuthAnn, and Ruthie's friend Jon. Marisa is a LVC volunteer in Baltimore, but she came to DC for the weekend because we're awesome.
As you can see, the stadium is totally packed. (Jill, Angie, and Carl.)
And clearly, we had the best seats. (Kristen and Hannah)
... i was maybe mostly there for the hot dogs anyway... (Luke, me, and Marisa)
BUT little did I know, I would find SO MUCH MORE than hot dogs... the Nats have RACING PRESIDENTS!!
AND HERE THEY COME NOW!!!
TR was in the lead for a while, but he got distracted (probably by something shiny) and dropped back right near the finish line.
Thomas Jefferson totally took it. Lincoln and Washington finished up in second and third, and Teddy came in last. He has no wins on the season. That guy has got to learn to focus.
Carl and Ang chose to celebrate the racing presidents by taking a nap. At $2.50 a seat, napping is probably a very appropriate thing to do.
But actually I guess Ang wasn't quite sleeping. She likes when I take her picture though, don't you think? Oh, also, the Nats won.
