2008 July 21-27 at Eagle Harbor, Michigan
July 21-27, 2008 We finally got to spend some time with Sally's cousin in MI, get to know their grandchildren, explore the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula, walk on the beach looking for agates (the water is too cold to wade!), take a sunset cruise far out onto Lake Superior, tour the site of a copper mine, eat Cornish pasties like the miners ate, pick wee blueberries growing ankle-high, even attend a 50's dance and a reunion of old-timers from mining days.
