An adorable Swan family at the Euro Disney resort outside of Paris. (Or so you would think...) Mama was quite protective of her brood, chasing away the ducks. We made the mistake of feeding them and when we ran out of crackers, Mama and Daddy swan attacked the windows of our townhome.

Sunset from the top of the Eiffel Tower. We went to Paris last September, took one look at the incredibly long line to go to the top of the Eifel Tower, and concluded that it was just not worth it. WRONG!!! The view from the top is nothing short of spectacular. These pictures do not even come close to doing justice to the view. Go at sunset and plan to linger a while.

Sainte-Chapelle (Holy Chapel) in Paris.
Sainte-Chapelle (Holy Chapel) in Paris. The stained glass windows illustrate many of the stories from the Bible, starting with Genesis, and proceeding through the Old Testament and the Gospels. Unfortunately, the camera was unable to capture pictures with enough detail. This was a magnificent chapel, well worth the wait in line.
