Reforestation sangha work week with Trees for life 2008
A work week in cooperation with Trees for Life, a Scottish charity committed to reforestation. We spent a week in the ancient Caledonian forest of northern Scotland exploring the dharma, practicing simplicity and working together on the land. This involves about 6 hours a day of tree planting and is a great opportunity to make a difference to Scotland’s degraded environment through working in some of the most beautiful and remote areas of the Highlands. The focus of these weeks is to explore what happens when like-minded people come together with the intention of bringing a positive change to the world. This time is an experiment of practicing the dharma in action.
