Miguel's christening 9.5.09

After two days of preparation, Miguel's christening finally took place. I was very honoured to be one of the few friends invited to join in the celebrations - nearly all the other guests were relatives.

Chiviri 09

Chiviri is the traditional Easter celebration in our nearby town, Trujillo. People come from far and wide, and it's one big picnic/music & dance event. This year my favourite Extremeñan folk group came to play on Easter Sunday night................I was SO excited!
