I jumped into the lawn sprinklers at an upscale development of monster homes, somewhere along Old NC 87. Felt great.
Old NC 87 is closed to install a traffic circle, aka roundabout, in front of a school just north of Pittsboro. We, ahem, didn't avail ourselves of the detour, which would have added about 2 miles.
