We arrived in New Orleans on Wednesday.
Then, we found our way to registration at the Convention Center.
After dinner, we joined 37,000 of our closest Lutheran buddies at the Superdome!
The set up is amazing!
On Thursday, we boarded busses and headed to our Service project.
We were heading to an Elementary school in Jefferson Parish to work wiht 3rd and 4th graders on their reading skills.
We did such a great job, they let us have lunch!
After lunch, the kids had gone home, so we helped with painting and other badly needed maintenace around the school.
The heat and humidity were very tiring!
But back at the Convention center we found a genuine New Orleans Jazz band!
They got Kelsey to dance with them!
Basically, New Orleans is glad we're here
