This is what happens when people get pigs and don't know how to properly care for them. A brother and sister pig, put into a tiny pen with no shelter, being fed scraps and dog food by elderly people who didn't know to even neuter the male. The female, at only 1.5 years of age, had delivered 3 litters of babies, only one piglet survived in the conditions they were in. You can see how obese these animals are which is terribly unhealthy for them. The female, Petunia, looks like she will deliver piglets any day. Neutering would have prevented the suffering of 17 piglets who died from this family. If the piglets had survived, this group of 3 pigs could have easily turned into over 50 in a very short time, which we see happen often. Neutering is the single most important thing to stop this kind of suffering.
