Here is Miss Belvedere at Ultra-One in Hackettstown, NJ on June 6, 2008. Note partial exterior cleanup of fender, part of the door, and half of the upper and lower grille sections.
A front view of Miss B.
Side view of the car.
A closeup of the cleaned up passenger fender and tire. The fender seems to have survived fairly well.
Here you see 'Debbie Carr - 5' written on the now cleaned white wall tire. Debbie was one of the girls featured in the picture of three girls on the hood. She attended the celebration in 2007 and a picture of what she now looks like can be seen in another album.
The chrome on the vent window frame looks great, with only one or two pits in the metal.
Here is the original battery with cables still connected.
Here's the engine as seen from the driver's side. The carb, made from cast aluminum, as well as anything on the car made from aluminum, did not fare well.
Another shot of the engine, this time from the passenger side.
The gas tank on the left looks like it survived and could probably be reused if the car was restored. The leaf springs, as seen on the right, have brittled and snapped. This is true for both sides.
This image is a better depiction of the interior, as it was shot without flash. Both doors are still frozen, so the VIN number is not yet known.
The torqueflite transmission pushbuttons cleaned up nicely.
Here you see a nasty hole in the trunk lid. Most of the sheet metal in the rear is wafer thin and could probably be poked thru without much effort.
This nasty cracking was probably caused by the car being jostled during its 1500 mile trip from Tulsa to NJ.
Here's the jack stand and spare tire holddown.

The southern parts car that was acquired by Ultra One and will be used to 'stabilize' Miss Belvedere. Plans are to use this car's frame and some of its sheet metal.
