As it turned out, this is the last CLEARLY marked Métro entrance we'd see all day. (OK, it was 35C and we were REALLY cranky.)

Through sheet luck, we stumbled into Jardin des Tuileries. Amazing place, we sat in the shade and ate macarons. We felt better.

The only line that was manageable was the one where you had to WALK up to the first level. We declined. Next time, promise.
