This is how the macarons were packed in Paris. Really these were the best confections/treats I've ever experienced.
R and I chose 6 each - not knowing they're so rich more than one or two would be enough for one sitting. These were mine and the Vanille (vanilla - 2nd from left) and Grott'in (chocolate and cherry pulp - 2nd from right) were magnifique!
R's choices - he told me Cafe (coffee - rightmost) was a star.
This was the Jardin des Tuileries where we sat and ate a macaron or two. It was 33C at the time but there was a little breeze here, where Marie Antoinette used to stroll.
