Still work to be done with this glittery felt runner... It has yet to be cut, sewn, and embroidered with big white snowflakes on the ends. I just threw it on the table as is, in a hurry to see the big picture...
I found this snowman while shopping in a modern 5 & 10 store in Mason, Michigan. The town was quaint and the snow falling outside made me feel as though I existed in a snow globe for just a moment in time. I brought this snowman home as a reminder of my day and he set the theme for my holiday decorations in the kitchen and dining room this year.
Just a little something I created with wooden letters, black paint, tacky glue, silver glitter, red cord, and a glue gun...
Mistletoe decoration I made using some long abandoned items I found in a far corner of an antique shop in Mason, MI.
Old vintage ornaments found in antique shops during my travels.
We broke out the autumn cookie cutters and the NY cookie cutter one last time this season, to bake a batch of my Grandmother's honey cookies. I have been making these with my grandma since I was old enough to stand on a chair by the kitchen table. Grandma no longer bakes, so I made these to take with me to Long Island this upcoming weekend.
Just a few pictures of our drive from Ohio to Pittsburgh.
