2007 06 30 - Throttle Cable
One of the more ingenious items my father's co-worker has cooked up in the machine shop. The cable is from a Volvo hood release that I got from a friend, it had no way to mount to the RB manifold, just the cable, outer sleeve and the egg. My father's friend knowing I needed adjustment took a bolt, drilled a hole down the center, counter sunk it for the outer sleve, and then added set screws to hold the outer sleve, add two nuts and whala, locking jambnuts to keep it and adjust it on the manifold. The other side is part of the original linkage that has been cut off, a hole drilled for the cable to slide inside and then another hole with a set screw to lock the end of the cable into the end. Works perfectly.
