Traveller's grave outside the chapel... Traveller was General Lee's horse and is most beloved by the people even more than a century after his death. I left a penny for him. Offerings of pennies, apples, carrots, and grain are left to provide for Traveller's care because it is said by the people of Lexington that Traveller must be cared for and never left without any need. The gates to his stable at the other end of the campus are also always left open so his spirit may wander freely.
