This luminary (Nº 100) is made of 4 bamboo pieces and the lesser one in the center has a drawing of a candelabrum and the one in the right side has a fusion of sun and moon and the one in the left has a Sun. And the bigger in the center has a drawing of the moon and the stars. It has a wooden made base.What you see in front are incensers

These luminaries (Nº 108) at my left side are made of wood (the base) bamboo and juta; it can be divided into 3 parts
I am burning a bamboo ( we call it to dehydrate a bamboo) It was filled with sand.The next scenes you will see the bamboo that will be the base sustaining the lampshade upper part.
When we are dehydrating a bamboo an oil comes out..I am cleaning with a clothe and it gets shiny naturaly with its own natural oil
After we fill it with sand and burn it becomes flexible and you could curve it ! I am going to divide it into two parts and I´m going to use it in the next two luminaries you will see ahead

This lumimary I am holding I made from a slice of wood trunk. The upper part is made of a fruit from Brazil called "coité" The one in the right is made of wooden disk, bamboo base sustaining and up a Brazil´s fruit called "cabaça" On the left in this long luminary I have used a bamboo x shape and a kind of cloth called "juta".Behind me you see a "bamboo wall" we call "divisoria " since it divide rooms .
