We went to Alligator Adventure with Paul's brother.
This one weight 2,000 pounds.
An albino alligator! In your face, Dr. Suess!
Like that chain link fence would stand a chance.
The view from our room
Red took us out to Vereen Gardens for a hike around the coastal waterway.
No rocks, just a zillion shells.
The casino-boat charged by.
Red took us to his friend Virgil's house to show us the infamous BMW M5.
From Virgil's house, we hiked out to the Waccamaw River.
I saw this little guy on the steps down to the lake from Patrick's house.
Andrew caught a five-pounder.
Nice shootin' Bry!
No pontoon boat ride is complete without the requisite ten minutes of trying to start the motor.
It was windy and chilly once we left the cove.
Skittles was thinking about going for a swim.
Later we went trap shooting. First step is loading the launcher.
Pull!
The house where Gen Lee and Gen Grant ended the Civil War

Appomattox Courthouse
The lesser known Appomattox Outhouse
Thursday morning, Andrew was invited to go bass fishing with Patrick's friend Vernon.
Vernon is a championship caliber bass fisherman. Andrew had a fantastic day.
We met my friend Scott at The Federal in Durham for a quick bite to eat.
Then we headed over to opening night at the Durham Bulls game.
It's a great little ballpark in downtown Durham.
It's Bryant's birthday tomorrow, but they got his age wrong and misspelled his name.
When the Bulls win, this happens.
We stopped at the Manassas Battlefield Park on the way home.
Two weeks after we got home, Virgil sent this photo taken from the same exact spot of a helicopter scooping up water to douse the big wildfire nearby.
