Marienplatz - The New Town Hall (built in the late 1800s - early 1900s) which managed to survive WWII.
The Glockenspiel of the New Town Hall has little scenes that rotate while music plays at certain hours of the day.

St. Peter's Church - Munich. In order to make more room outside of the church a graveyard was exhumed. The most well preserved gravestones were saved and attached to the side of the church.
The maypole in the center of the Viktualienmarkt (a market). Usually there is a scene for each profession (butcher, baker, etc.) but this one is sponsored by the breweries and therefore contains only beer related images!

The legendary Hofbräuhaus (state brewery). This was where the German Workers Party was turned into the Nazi Party by Hitler. A place of immense historical significance, it is still heavily frequented by all.

Obatzda for your bread or brezen. It's a Bavarian cheese delicacy made out of various cheeses and spices.
We were VERY hungry after walking all day.
The place is huge and was very crowded. This is but one of the many rooms. Note: German dude with Faith No More shirt at the next tabe! Rock on.

Augustiner Tent! This place was packed to the brim, there's no way to get a table unless you sign up months in advance. Brian scores a temporary seat to order us some beers, Yay!
A couple beers (liters) into the evening. We must stand to drink. A small price to pay! Augustiner was our favorite.
He looks troubled...probably because he had to pee every 10 minutes.

I guess it would be prudent to mention this was taken at the height of drunkeness. They had some weird "rides" there. I felt like I was on Sprockets. Now is the time on Sprockets when we stare.
