A Day Out to the Playground
14 amazing trainees from Musicians without Borders (www.musicianswithoutborders.org) took almost 100 children from their camps to a playground in Beit Jalla to play and have fun.
Thank you all (Dheisheh: Mohammad, Dia', Ahmad, Yousuf, Bassam, Anas and Hisham, Aida: Ramzi and Ahmad, al-Azzeh: Khaldoun, Naji, Osama, Bob and Merna) for the wonderful day and thank you Prelude Foundation (www.preludefund.org) for making this trip possible.
Thank you Cecile and Lilith for making pictures and filming!
On March 7, 2009, Prelude sponsored a day out to a playground in Bethlehem for one-hundred children from Al-Azzeh, Dheisheh and Aida refugee camps.
The Palestinian refugee camps in the area of Bethlehem suffer from extreme crowdedness and poverty. During the last several months, Prelude has sponsored the shipment of violins, purchasing of art materials for art classes, and day trips, all for the benefit of the camps' children.
