I shot these pics at Wachlensee, Germany. This is a huge lake located between the Alps mountains. The lake and its surroundings look like Riviera region, in the summer. Its beautiful in winter too, but we cant do much as its cold and probably, the lake will be totally frozen. Maybe iceskating?

European Grand Canyon (Verdon Du Gorges, France)

These are the pics that I shot at Verdon Du Gorges. This is said to be the European Grand Canyon. Its in similar style to the Grand Canyon in USA, but different nature and other differences. This is a very cool location and the water over there is blue and very clear. I would really recommend this place for anyone as it is laidback, peaceful and relaxing over there. Also the drive around the Gorge is exciting.

Monte-Carlo, Monaco

I shot these pics when I was at Monte Carlo for the formula 1 race. I flew to Nice, France and from Nice to Monte Carlo, I flew with Heli-Air Monaco (Helicopter Service), which takes around 10 minutes. Monaco is the second smallest country in the world (around 2 sq kms) and Monte Carlo occupies most of it (La Condamine being the other part). Monte Carlo is rich, sophisticated and a kool location,but a expensive place.

The World Perfume Capital - Grasse, France

These are the pics that I shot at Grasse, France. Grasse is close to both Nice and Cannes in France and is claimed to be the "World's Perfume Capital". The trip to Grasse was specially interesting because I just saw the movie "Das Parfum (The Perfume)" by Patrick Suskind. Its really interesting to see the way they make perfumes, toilettes and other things..And they still use the old methods at this place.

This village is a world in itself and is kind of interesting. It has these narrow alleys/tunnels inside the village and kind of, looks spooky, cosy and interesting.

Nice, France

I shot these pics at Nice, France. Nice is the 5th biggest city in France and the main city in French Riviera. Also, its the main/major airport in French Riviera and hence its the main entry point there. Monte Carlo is around 20 kms and St. Tropez is around 80 kms from this place. Grasse (World perfume capital), Menton, Vence, Verdon Du Gorges, Antibes, Cannes and many other touristic places are around this place. Nice is a kool location, as you can have a cosmopolitan city life, as well as a lot of other tourist destinations are around. Also, if you want to relax, just head into the main land and you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Also, cool beaches with blue and clear water.

I shot these pics of Athens and its surroundings when I had a vacation there for a couple of days. When I was there, it reminded me of Alexander, Aristotle, Socrates, The Trojan War, Achilles, Paris, etc and made me think why it was so hard to pay attention to history classes at school and why is it so exciting now. But anyways, It was a great trip and as the saying goes "travel makes you mature", so it did! :-)

Am Plansee (Lake Plansee) - Austria (Near Reutte)

I shot these pics when I did a road trip through South Bavarian Alps (Garmish To Ettal To Linderhof and then crossing the German-Austrian border and then to Neuschwanstein). The pics in this album were taken when we drove across the German-Austrian border and stopped by Lake Plansee (Am Plansee), near Reutte (Austria). There was great scenery around the place, in between the Alps mountains. After we stopped by, I walked around a bit and also on the frozen Am Plansee lake. Was a good experience and great trip! :-)

Linderhof - The Famous King Ludwig II's Castle

This Castle is built by King Ludwig II and is one of the famous castles, apart from Neuschwanstein and many other. The best part is the location of this castle. It is located in Souther Bavaria/Bayern, Germany - somewhere near to the Alps. The path from Garmisch to Linderhof and then Neuschwanstein is a beautiful path and makes for a great road trip. This was one of my best road trips. It was winter time, not much traffic and driving between the mountains...Wow..cool..! :-)

Ettal, Bayern/Bavaria. Germny

I shot these pics when I did a road trip through southern Bavaria/Bayern, Germany. We stayed in a hotel, which sits on the edge of a mountain. That was so peaceful and beautiful there. This small place has a old, famous monastery. Also, there's this mountain pass which was used centuries back for travel between Italy and Germany. This part of Bavarian Alps is very serene and pretty. And the route from Ettal to Linderhof (which then leads to the Austrian border and Neuschwanstein) is gorgeous. The pics you see in the album are shot at Ettal, Bavaria/Bayern, Germany.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Top Of Germany)

This place is in Southern Germany (Southern Bavaria/Bayern). This is where the highest peak in Germany, called Zugspitze is located. Garmisch and Partenkirchen are two small twin towns at the base of these mountains. It also hosted winter olympics, before. This is also very nearby to the Austrian border and Tirol (Innsbruck).
