Looking at the new starting area. This was directly across the lake from the old starting area. Very yucking and sharp rocks on the bottom. I cut my big toe...OUCH!
A NEWLY cleaned bike. It was SOOOO happy to have all that direct cleaned off of it! It thanked me by running perfectly during the race.
Yes, it was posing. It's just SOOO vain!
I LOVED my campground.
Cozy eh? Not really, when you climb in the sides pop up and you feel like you're sleeping in a canoe....a soft canoe, but still.
Oh there it is again...sneaking into the picture!
Looking out from the dock towards the old starting point.
A close up of the old starting point. By the way, they have YUMMY berry pie there!
Friday evening and the sun setting...very nice.
more very nice
RACE DAY MORNING! I was the 1st one to place their bike into the T1 transition area. A great spot!
I was # 58....no NOT my age or IQ!
The was after the race. I was eating dinner (Hamburger, fries, two LARGE glasses of milk and a blackberry pie...no, not the whole thing, just a piece!) at the lodge. The swim start was across the lake, just to the left of the pine tree in the foreground.
I zoomed in so you could see it. (Did I tell you I LOVE my waterproof camera? I DO I DO!)
On the way home I stopped and took some pictures of Crystal Falls.
