My sister Jenni shows off Cindy's 50s pink bathroom. The bathroom has kept its original pink elements. But - Cindy's taken an eclectic, timeless route with the decor. The wallpaper choice is key - it's soft, a bit flowery, and there's actually a separate complementary striped pattern at the end of the room.
Hexagonal pink floor tiles are about 4x4 or 3x3. I like hex's!
White field tiles with pink trim tiles on the wall.
Note how the mirror is framed in tile - fabulous!
Cindy replaced the laminate on the vanity, and she special-ordered this sink from a pottery company in Maine.
Note the complementary wallpaper style. This is masterful decorative work by Cindy!
You will rarely see an open toilet on my blog - BAD FENG SHUI. But look at this unique toilet cover - it clamps right down, kind of like the top of a jar of peanut butter. You know how excited I get about toilet innovation!
Just lovely!
Bathrooms are for fun.
Cindy's integration of artwork is so well done.
Whimsy. Essential.
Lovely.
To display your art - you need to play around with size, scale and numbers of pieces to develop your eye.
