Paul and Lynn's Airpark 3/30/09

Paul's Airpark on the east end of Shiflet Field (9A9) recently has grown with the addition of the Twin Beech 18 which required an addition to the hangar. Also Frank and Paul bought a Cessna 172 to keep company with the Mooney 201. The pictures with the fall colors were taken over four years ago when Paul rekindled Chuck's aviation fire which led to his provisional medical, purchase of the Piper Archer II, after 18 years of thinking that aviation was no longer possible.

We celebrated Carolyn's Birthday with Jennifer serving while on duty as Manager of Sushi-101 at the Woodlawn restuarant. Chris was not able to be with us but he did get a rather large piece of cake when Jenn got home.

Mudsling

The Johnny Ivy Family hosted a MudSling Benefit for Sarah Porter on May 17, 2008, that was an all day fun party for hundrens of visitors and drivers. The Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Barbeque Chicken was delicious! The entertainment was outstanding!

Carolyn's Birthday

Carolyn's Birthday was another nice family day. This year the highlight was our little Sarah Colleen Porter! Grandma could not have been any happier! Of couse now she can get free checking and order from the Senior's menu. For some reason she is still 12 years younger than Grandpa. Jennifer - thank you for the wonderful lunch.

New York

Sarah's first trip to New York - Mom, Dad, Grandpa, and Grandma got to got too! We are stayed in a hotel a short walk from the Empire State Building. Wednesday, 1/16/08 - Sarah's laser surgery and laparascope check of the airway was very successful. Thursday, 1/17/08 Dr, Waner gave us a good report. We thank our family and friends so very much for their prayers and support!

Christmas 2007

Sarah's first Christmas, holding her bottle for the first time. The oil paintings are by my four Grandchildren, young artists like their mother and my daughter Paige, proudly hanging on the wall at Grandpa and Grandma's, next to their hand prints made this summer. My grandchildren told their mother that they wanted to do something special for our Christmas. So Paige told them to paint "What is Grandma and Grandpas house like and how do you feel there."
