Lake Pukaki, with its beautiful blue color (from the glaciers)
On a good day, you can see Mt. Cook in the distance
I thought this shot felt like one of those motivational posters doesn't it?
Looking through the visitor center at Lake Pukaki
Shores of Lake Tekapo... it was extremely windy... I could barely stand firm in this wind...
Church of the Good Shepherd. I waited for close to 10 mins for all the tourist to clear out so I can get a good clean shot of the church. Again, doesn't this feel like a motivational poster? "Faith: A shelter for weary travelers" or something.
This is apparently the one of the most photographed churches in New Zealand... so I am here doing my part :).
Someone commented once that it is not a "Ping album" without food photos. So here it is... food photo of the day.
Japanese food! Sooo good after days of western food :).
Salmon Sashimi, the Salmon was apparently raised in glacier water. either way I enjoyed the meal ... it was goood :).
Churhc of Good Shepherd against the nearby mountains.
It was a long drive back to Christchurch from Lake Wanaka... I had nothing to do other than take photos of the sheeps next to the road (and sleep of course)
Lambs are sooo cute...
Lambs get scared easily so as cars drive by they'll run away from the road to be next to their mother.
Oh.. lots of cows along the road too...
Alpacas! Alpaca fiber is extremely precious used for all sorts of clothing
Alpaca charging in at for food
That's what i'm like on a bad hair day :)
They are... kinda cute?
Bridge of Remembrance. Memorial to all the young men who sacrificed their lives in WW I (and later WW II)
All the solders in the Canterbury region passed through this bridge on their way to war, many did not return.
Wavy bench along the streets of Christchurch

Christchurch Cathedral in Cathedral Square
I like how this line leads straight to the cathedral.
We also stopped by Victoria Park on our way to dinner...
