Triumph Scrambler 900 Matt Black. Bought it at Triumph Zaanstad.
Brought to life with the Triumph 'Not for Road Use Exhausts'
On the ferry near Amerongen. The dyke next to the river Lek is a dream to ride :)
Only three Matt Black versions were exported to the Netherlands. I got one of them!
900 cc Twin. I ride it daily with love. Plenty of torque and handles like a moped
We designed our own '61 sign and named the Scrambler "Dark Horse".
1961 was the year I took my very first breath. Dark Horse used to be the nickname of guitarist/singer/songwriter George Harrison.
George Harrison played in The Beatles and The Traveling Wilburys.
We fit some accessories like a skid plate to protect the engine and a grille for the headlight.
Altough the nubby tires give the bike an off road look, I wouldn't call the Scrambler an off road motorbike.
It's an all road classic motorbike - not an off roader.
All Scrambler adventures start where the road begins...
