Aquatica sign for the park entrance.
Lady watches Dave wave while in front of the ticket booths at Aquatica.
The lady watching takes our picture at Aquatica.
I was amazed by the thin tubes.
Notice the slide tubes above. The lazy river flows by an observation window to see the dolphins and the people flying through the tubes at Aquatica.
This is the same tube that goes through the dolphin tank notice the blue tube below. Very, very short trip through the dolphin tank. Don't blink or get water in your eyes. You'll miss it!
In Aquatica there is an observation area that you can walk through to see the dolphins and the people going through the tubes.
Another shot with the dolphins in Aquatica.
This is Aquatica's large wave pool.
This is Aquatica's Whanau Way water slide.
There are two wave pools, Aquatica's Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores. One has small waves as the other has big waves.
For the rapids ride you can go up and get a life vest. These are at the entrances of the rapids ride in Aquatica.
This is the baby/very small child pool, Aquatica's Kata's Kookaburra Cove
What I found very clever for the baby/small child pool are the rafts at Aquatica. One side is for parent and the other side is for small child. The child side has a bottom on the raft so it won't fall through into the water.
This is the fast rapids, Aquatica's Roa's Rapids.
This is the racing slide called Taumata Racer.
This is the water play area for the larger kids called Aquatica's Walkabout Waters.
This is an entrance to the rapids ride. What was nice about all the ground level water rides was that you wade into the water and not have to step down or up. Very accessible in Aquatica.
Very clever marketing are these bowls for Dipping Dots.
What I thought was very interesting were these fibulators that were scattered through the park.
