Dubrovnik is a popular cruise ship port of call. There were three in port the day we were there.

At the entrance to the old city, there is a chart showing all of the damage to the historic district inflicted during the last civil war.
There are a hundred and twelve stairs into the heart of the old city. Also, there were the same number coming back out!
