Couples Challenge: A variation of “The Newlywed Game”
11 couples gathered in the Terrace Room to share a six foot Subway sandwich and then challenge each other to see who knew their spouse the best. The couples were split into three tables for the first round of questions and answers. Plenty of laughs were had as a winning couple was crowned from each table (Ben and Ruthie Swilling, Jeremy and Tracy Foster, Matt and Ren Niblack). All three winning couples were then asked to sit up front for the championship round of questions and answers in front of the rest of the group. Matt “Chaz” Gordon and Laura “Farrah” Gordon came out in 70’s outfits to co-host this final game show style round. The final score was close, but Matt and Ren Niblack won the couples challenge in the end claiming a free pair of movie tickets and candy as their prize.
