A professional tasting by Julia Jenkins of Flagship Wines of St Albans(www.flagshipwines.co.uk) of 9 wines and grape varietiesfrom around the world and a superb supper made for a very convivial evening. a wise choice for those that came by taxi!

2009 Jan 15th Successful and informative visit to Smiths coffee
Smiths is a leading supplier of bespoke coffees to many specialist companies and individuals. The group thoroughly enjoyed the visit finishing up at the Fullers pub "The Papermill" in Apsley for luncch afterwards. 2008 April 17th Thursday Annual Dinner
The guest speaker Dick Smethurst Provost of Worcester College Oxford gave the most entertaining speech to one of the largest annual dinner gatherings for some time. Held at All Saints Pastoral Centre, Shenley. The meal and company was excellent.

Benjamin Cartlidge's recital delights the OUS Herts branch
On 6 December 2007 two Trinitarians with almost a half century between them were responsible for a musical soiree for the Hertfordshire Branch of the Oxford University Society . Ben Cartlidge (Trinity '04) was the soloist and Ian Senior (Trinity '58) was the prime-mover for the latest in a series of recitals in his house given by talented Oxford musicians. Ben gave a superb account of sonatas by Dvorak and Grieg with Massenet's Meditation from Thais thrown in as a well-known "lollipop". He was accompanied at extremely short notice by concert pianist Winnie Wu when his regular Oxonian accompanist had to withdraw with RSI.
