Inaugural Dinner of ICIRC (Internat. Council for Inter-Religious Cooperation) - Brussels, 24.09.2009 - with the participation of two orthodox delegates: His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of SInope and Deacon Ciprian Popescu (both from the Ecumenical Patriarchate). The dinner took place in the buildings of the European Parliament. The aim of the organisation is to help to study, diagnose, prevent, calm down and remediate inter-religious tension and violence where ever in the world its influence permits so. To organize and maintain high level contacts, combine networks, support and bring together organizations active in this field, organize conferences and exchange, stimulate and support all actions that can contribute to inter-religious confidence, cooperation and peace. The aim of the organisation is to help to study, diagnose, prevent, calm down and remediate inter-religious tension and violence where ever in the world its influence permits so.
