Blackburn and Blackpool

Blackburn and Blackpool have became the last bastions of widespread service use of pre-deregulation Olympians thanks to Transdev and Blackpool Transport. This collection is a tribute to the wonderful TL11 Lothians and other ECW and Leyland bodied Olympians that still served Lancashire in 2010 and 2011.

My preserved Olympians

My first preserved Olympian was launched at the Cobham Rally on 11-Apr-2010. Alder Valley 1510 B578LPE was finished just in time to attend it's first rally in my ownership after months of work- this is the first "commuter" style ECW coach bodied Olympian to be restored to original appearance.

Small operators in 2010

This is the collection of photos of Leyland Olympians belonging to "other operators" taken in 2010. The Arriva, First, Go Ahead, Stagecoach and Transdev shots have been moved into their own folders whilst the photos of tours taken of vehicles used on the Leyland Olympian group trips can be found in that collection. The ex Dublin, the ex Hong Kong and preserved Olympian photos now go straight into the correct section.

Dublin Bus Volvo Olympians

Dublin Bus purchased 150 RA Class Volvo Olympians between 1994 and 1997 with Cummins L10 engines. Then between 1997 and 1999 315 RV Class Volvo Olympians were purchased, these are powered by Volvo engines.
