In Honor of Ali El-Mohammed
On Friday, December 14, the anniversary of the death of Ali El-Mohammed, his friends and family gathered at the Open Door to volunteer work in Ali's honor. Musette, Ali's wife, and his son, Mo, led the crew. They were joined by Gene and Jeanine Fellings, Jane Puvogel, Dean Tyndall, and Mary Perrin. The group prepared a mass mailing, washed all the woodwork and blinds in the guests' bedrooms, and cleaned the bathroom. While the crew worked at these jobs, Musette made a huge pan of her fantastic pasta sauce to delight the guests at both the Open Door and the Next Door.
