"No way CO2 atmospheric concentration can drop (except seasonally) but concentration may accelerate. CO2 accumulates in the atmosphere for thousands of years. CO2 from the 19th & 20th centuries remains in the atmosphere while we dump more into it. Positive feedbacks as CO2 is released by the warming oceans and thawing of permafrost regions."
