About two weeks ago, we made a big mess in the kitchen and planted 20 pots of 8 kinds of seeds. Tomato, Jalapeno, Spinach, Thyme, Lavender, Cilantro, Basil, and Chives.
I used Grandma Barbara's patented method of rubberbands and produce bags to help the seeds germinate. Notice three windowsills chock full of pots.
And, voila! This is two weeks later. The seedlings closest to you in this photo are Basil
This little seedling is named Link.
The seedling closest to you is Basil, but those Cilantros are doing great.
And here we have some Spinach. Everything has sprouted, so I'm pretty siked. I am thinning them out to one plant per pot (except for the Chives). The Lavender and Thyme is the slowest growing so far.
This was on the way into town one recent morning.
