Friday night we related our strengths to several categories.
There was much milling about and laughter.
Eventually we got things sorted out.
Someone attached one of our "strengths" to Ken's sweater.
Darren Morgan, of the Maine Conference of the UCC, served as facilitator for this event Friday night.
Susie Craig helped us understand a bit about the process that we were going through.
On Saturday after breakfast, we divided into four small groups to discuss what we would do if our church suddenly was destroyed by hurricane Zeus.
Each group worked/played for over an hour to decide what was important and how to proceed.
Each group summarized its results on a flip chart, and we gathered in the Sanctuary to share what we had done.
Catherine Merrill described the experience of her group.
Judy Jones described the experience of her group.
Darren wrapped it up, leaving us excited about where we are and where we might want to go -- thankfully without going through the heartbreak of a killer hurricane.
