Cos 5"seat height, new lowracer 7.5" seat height. Big difference in my efficiency here, I kept sliding up in the Cos and having to pull myself back down in the seat. With the lowracer I'm locked in.
Drivetrains are in similar locations, but oh so different.

side windows. If it weren't for these this bike would have been completely unridable.
These side windows might work well as your primary method of navigation on a small banked track when you are the only one on the track, but on a five mile oval with two others out there somewhere, it's a little hairy.
Pedals even, no forward vision other than the monitor. I rode the bike without the monitor Friday. Even though the monitor doesn't seem half bad when setting still, the resolution was too poor to really judge where I was at. The suns glare would also render it useless in corners three and four during my hour.
The view out the left side of the nose bubble is the good side. I would try to keep the blurry dashed white line in front of my left foot. Remember, you can only see out when you are on the downstroke.
Right side veiw on the downstroke. The deraillieur blocks about half of your veiw here.
Tried to keep the little white "rumble bumps" in the right side window. If you see sand, you're too close to the edge.
Tons of room. Oh, wait...helmet...
No room?
Actually there was about 1/2-3/4" to spare.
The bubble is a little dusty in this pic, but this is about as good as it got in AZ though. Lots of distortion.
High tech 12v camera mounting/power source.
Mguyver tent stake chain guide, sans 60t chainring. Note the use of the shelled out pulley bearing as spacer, ah the fun of mechanicals on race day.
Post event. I removed the front brake arch the first day of the event because it was rubbing on the tire immediately during the preride. After much thought I fount there really isn't room for the brake anywhere but where it was, so I revamped it. Newly revamped front brake arch, no more rubbing, no more brake steer! And paint!

The Bubble is getting pretty scratched, but it is still less distorted than the new bubbles I've got, and another world better than the Cos
The shiny thing in the middle is my 23 watt HID lamp. It's attached to my steerer so it turns into corners, makes the 24hour night laps fun.
