Break/study area outside of the main classrooms at IES.
A view of the main performance hall for the IES facility in the Palais Corbelli.
Really this hall is quite a beautiful hall! The piano is the best Kawaii grand I have played on and the second in the room is a Bechstein!
What a nice chandelier for a study hall...
Our computer lab...although half the computers hardly work.
Another view of the break/study area, this time without many students present.
Our ground floor area near the entrance. By the way, there are two sets of doors with two different coded combinations just to get in! Talk about security!
The cheap and tasty Kabap shop just down the street from the Palais Corbelli.
"Mostly Mozart" and the walking street just a block from our facility. There are tons of street performers here every day! I'll try to remember to bring my camera and get a picture of them later!
I am so happy that fresh food is popular, easily accessible, and cheaper than in America!
The free city-bikes in front of the Staatsoper!
The main opera hall in Vienna, just a few blocks from where I study!
I never see anyone in this store, so I don't know what it is exactly. I have noticed though, the Bösendorfer piano with the sheet music that has remained the same every day I walk by!
Marc Anton.
The Naschmarkt continues for close to a half mile!
Some of the fresh food at the Naschmarkt.
The ladies room in our apartment!
one of our hangout spots in our apartment (probably the most popular spot is in our kitchen!
the small room that Rob and I share, but hardly spend much time in!
My very first try at a panoramic photo to fit each of the things in here. These doors used to continue on further into other parts of the Palais Corbelli, however those parts were blown up in WWII so now they go nowhere at all!
I like that this is the landmark I use to know where to make my last turn on my way home.
One of the U-bahn (metro) cars in Vienna, and a few people not so excited to be in my picture...
My lunch at the Heurigen.
The cute, although cross-eyed kitten at the Heurigen. There were three identical kittens playing around and eyeing for scraps of food (although this was the only one that was cross-eyed)
A much better picture of Vienna's Incinerator. How awesome!
The city-bike I was riding poses next to some graffiti by the canal.
My classroom for intensive german (and likely for my music history class - basing my guess on the grand piano present)
A panoramic view of the morning elementary-german classes sampling fresh wine at the Heurigen.
